بيان حصار مقابل حصار

إن الجمعية الدولية للمترجمين واللغويين العرب إذ: تتابع بغضب شديد الحصار الظالم المفروض على غزة هاشم، لتؤكد على أنها: تستهجن التقاعس العربي في رفع الحصار ووقف الاعتداءات الإسرائيلية الوحشية.تندد بالعربدة الأمريكية، واستهتارها بالقوانين الدولية وحقوق الإنسان والشعوب.تتابع بألم وقهر ما يتعرض له الشعب الفلسطيني الصابر منذ 60 عامًا. تؤمن أن سلاح الفكر والمعرفة من أقوى أدوات المواجهة ويجب استخدامها للدفاع عن قضايا الأمة.تشير إلى أنها لم تتلق ردًا على مطالبها من السيد بوش وعلى رأس هذه المطالب فك الحصار، والاعتراف بالحقوق المشروعة للشعب الفلسطيني المظلوم المضطهد.تشعر بغضب ما بعده غضب تجاه كل ما تمارسه قوات الاحتلال الصهيوني بحق الشعب الفلسطيني وأرضه ومقدساته.تؤكد على المسؤولية الأخلاقية الكبرى تجاه قضايا الأمة ومنها قضية الشعب الفلسطيني والعراقي، والملقاة على عاتق الأكاديميين والكتاب والمثقفين والمفكرين والمبدعين، ودورهم في نصرة أمتهم.فإنها بكل ما تحمله من تاريخ وإرث وفكر ووزن:
تعلن الحرب المفتوحة على جميع المنتجات والبضائع الأمريكية في الدول العربية والإسلامية، وستقاتل حتى الحرف الأخير لمقاطعتها.تستنفر، وتحشد جميع العقول العربية للمشاركة في مقاطعة البضائع والمنتجات الأمريكية.تدعو جميع المنظمات والمؤسسات والشركات والبنوك والأفراد لمقاطعة المنتجات والبضائع الأمريكية.تدعو الحكومة المصرية إلى تحمل مسؤوليتها الأخلاقية والتاريخية، وفتح الحدود والمعابر مع قطاع غزة.تدعو الزعماء العرب إلى الوقوف وقفة عزّ ورفض الوصاية الأمريكية، ودعم الشعب الفلسطيني دبلوماسيا وماليا وسياسيا.تدعو جميع الشركات والمؤسسات والبنوك والمنظمات الخيرية والإنسانية والطبية إلى تخصيص دعم مالي شهري طويل الأمد، ومستمر لعائلات وطلبة وحكومة ومؤسسات ووزارات فلسطين.تدعو إلى انطلاق المسيرات الحاشدة في كل الدول العربية والإسلامية لدعم الفلسطينيين المحاصرين في غزة والضفة الغربية.تدعو جميع المؤسسات الأهلية، ومنظمات حقوق الإنسان، والمنظمات العربية والنقابات والاتحادات والتجمعات والمدونات والمواقع الإلكترونية وجميع الأحرار والشرفاء أفرادًا وجماعات إلى دعم حملة مقاطعة البضائع الأمريكية، التي تشنها الجمعية تحت شعار "حصار مقابل حصار".تدعو الصحفيين والإعلاميين والإعلام العربي المرئي والمسموع والمقروء إلى دعم الحملة والتعريف بها.تؤكد أنها تواصل حملة مقاطعة البضائع والمنتجات الأمريكية، حتى رفع الحصار عن الشعب الفلسطيني، تحت شعار "حصار مقابل حصار".

The World Association of Arab Translators & Linguists receives with extreme anger the news of the unfair siege imposed on Gaza, and thereby...
- Condemning the Arab neglect of lifting the siege and stopping the brutal Israeli aggression.
- Denouncing the American attitude and disrespect of the international law, humans' and peoples' rights.
- Following sorrowfully the aggressive attacks on the 60-year enduring Palestinian people.
- Believing that thought and knowledge are the most powerful tools of challenge, and that they must be utilized for defending the Muslim and Arab issues.
- Sating that it received no response to its demands from President Bush, above all of which, lifting the siege and recognizing the legal rights of the oppressed Palestinian people.
- Feeling bitter anger towards the Zionist military onslaughts on the Palestinian' rights, land and holy places.
- Stressing the great moral responsibly towards our nation's issues, including those of Palestinian and Iraqi people, which is shouldered by academics, writers, intellectuals, thinkers and their role in supporting their nation. - An open war on all American goods and products in all Arab and Muslims countries, with an intention to fight to the end in this regard.
- Mobilizes all Arab intellectuals to participate in the boycott campaign on the American goods and products.
- Calls all organizations, institutions, companies, banks, and individuals to boycott the American goods and products.
- Calls upon the Egyptian government to bear its moral and historical responsibility, and open the crossing points and borders with Gaza Strip.
- Invites all Arab heads of states to unite in rejection of the American guardianship, and to support the Palestinian people diplomatically, financially and politically.
- Calls upon all companies, institutions, banks, human, medical, charitable organizations and individuals to allocate a long-term monthly support for Palestinian families, students, government, institutions, and ministries.
- Calls for staging massive demonstrations in all the Arab and Islamic countries to support the Palestinians besieged in Gaza and the West Bank.
